As a tutor at Coderhouse, I contributed to the **Backend Development with NodeJS** program by supporting students through doubt resolution, personalized guidance, and assignment correction. I facilitated understanding of NodeJS concepts, fostered a collaborative learning environment, and encouraged idea exchange during interactive sessions. I provided detailed, constructive feedback on assignments to enhance students' skills and ensure their academic success.
At Foxbox Digital I've contributed to three different projects: Sydney Health (Mobile Telehealth) This mobile application was developed for Anthem and we were working on the frontend side using React Native. During this time I was able to contribute by creating several features, and fixing bugs among others. I also was part of code reviewers on the backend side promoted by the Anthem team. Hoddie (Cannabis Industry Analytics PWA) Hoddie is a web platform that provides analytics for the cannabis industry, my participation in this project was as a backend engineer. I had the opportunity to work on awesome features, technologies, and services such as AWS Lambda, Typescript, GraphQL, Hasura, and Elastic. Capitalize On Yourself Company (Content Creator Platform - SaaS) CoyCO as we call it, it's a platform that allows connecting content creators with their audience. It's built using NextJS, Typescript, Node, AWS Lambda, AWS Cognito, AWS Aurora, and AWS S3 for storing all the media files.
Sydney Health (Mobile Telehealth) - Developed frontend features and fixed bugs using React Native. - Reviewed backend code as part of the Anthem team collaboration. Hoddie (Cannabis Industry Analytics PWA) - Worked as a backend engineer on features using AWS Lambda, Typescript, GraphQL, Hasura, and Elastic. Capitalize On Yourself Company (Content Creator Platform - SaaS) - Contributed as a backend engineer since March 2022. - Developed features, fixed defects, reviewed code, and improved documentation. - Tech stack: NextJS, Typescript, Node, AWS Lambda, Cognito, Aurora, and S3.
At BI, I was able to accomplish my first goal of working for a company that enforces me to interact in English only. I was part of the HubNext team. HubNext is a Drupal flavor designed to be deployed easily including custom modules, themes, and configurations that all the BI partners need to have. Working there I developed a module from scratch called Vet Locator. This module allowed to perform a search by entering a key, zip code, and so on, and then it rendered all the veterinary shops or clinics within a geographic radius. It was developed using Node as a backend service, Laravel as SDK, and Symfony (drupal module). During this process, I was assisted by the WebPro team and I did a successful demonstration meeting for the beta version. Then I continued working on creating new features, fixing defects, and doing code reviews as usual on HubNext project.
At BI, I joined the HubNext team, working on a Drupal-based platform for BI partners. I developed the Vet Locator module from scratch, enabling geographic searches for veterinary clinics using Node (backend), Laravel (SDK), and Symfony (Drupal module). Collaborated with the WebPro team and conducted a successful beta demo. Additionally, I contributed to the HubNext project by creating new features, fixing defects, and performing code reviews. This role also allowed me to work exclusively in English.
Chazki-VTEX middleware Chazki is a last-mile logistics company. VTEX is an enterprise digital commerce platform. Tiendanube is a cloud-based e-commerce platform. I built a middleman application which consisted of allowing VTEX sellers to connect their stores and receive all the placed orders to be sent through a private API to a logistics company called Chazki. This integration software was developed using React, Express, NodeJS, MongoDB, and Docker. It was deployed into Vultr instance and it was powered by PM2. It was developed in two phases, the first phase consisted of integrating the logistic Chazki API for Argentina and Chile, and the second one was integrating the existing ones for Mexico and Peru. Other technologies that I used there were: Pusher to send and receive push notifications in real-time. Redux to handle the application state. Formiik to build and handle all the forms. JWT to authenticate users. ChartJS to create insights into the dashboards.
Chazki-VTEX Middleware - Built middleware to connect VTEX sellers with Chazki for order processing via a private API. - Developed using React, Express, NodeJS, MongoDB, Docker, and deployed on Vultr with PM2. - Integrated Chazki APIs for Argentina, Chile, Mexico, and Peru. - Utilized Pusher for real-time notifications, Redux for state management, Formiik for forms, JWT for authentication, and ChartJS for dashboard insights. Chazki-Tiendanube Middleware - Developed a Node.js backend connecting Tiendanube sellers with Chazki via APIs. - Built using Handlebars (template engine), Node.js, JavaScript, and MySQL. - Deployed to Vultr and monitored with PM2.
Microsoft Landing Pages:Design and develop landing pages using HTML, Javascript, Gulp, and SASS. In this project, I enhanced several landing pages with awesome results. POSSIBLE is a US agency that asked us to fix several defects on their internal manager software, we were contacted to work on those fixes. That software was built using Symfony and VueJS. I was working on that for almost a month fixing several errors that they reported and others that I found by myself. Intel Marketing Studio I was working on this project from the beginning, I had the opportunity to contribute to that by being part of the backend and solution team. we developed this platform using a micro-services architecture, so we created eight micro-services (gateway, user, campaign, resources, assets, mail, metrics, logs) All those were developed using Lumen (PHP) and were deployed into AWS.
At Goiar, I contributed to three projects: Microsoft Landing Pages - Designed and developed landing pages using HTML, JavaScript, Gulp, and SASS, achieving significant enhancements. POSSIBLE General Manager - Fixed defects in Symfony and VueJS-based internal software for a US agency. - Developed the first phase of a new General Manager system before transitioning to another project. Intel Marketing Studio - Built eight microservices (gateway, user, campaign, resources, assets, mail, metrics, logs) using Lumen (PHP) in a microservices architecture. - Deployed services to AWS and developed a NodeJS authentication resource for JWT generation, addressing the lack of a sandbox in Intel’s native method.
Being a member of Tiarg team, I contributed to three different projects. Galileo Project - National Ministry of Modernization There I was working using AngularJS and Zend framework, I was working on creating new features, and fixing bugs among others. I worked there for six months until returning to Tiarg headquarters. Once there, I start to create from scratch a new medical appointment system. It would be developed using React, Koa, and PostgreSQL. I was assigned to work on the front-end side and I was creating all the basic features for a month. Then I was moved to a new client ARSAT. There I was working with Drupal and my work consisted of creating a new theme to be implemented in the new site release.
