I am currently leading a small, but focused team of developers working on the Audish application that has launched in May of 2021. It is an exciting job marketplace that leverages vertical videos as its main media type to create dynamic, interesting, and more personal stories both about our users' work-related skills, history, and profile and about the job opportunities offered by our clients.
I've been leading a small team of developers with the goal of learning and producing video games. Our latest project has been a cooperation with Oreo's marketing team to create ad games to increase their presence in social networks.
I've joined the MediaMonk teams from Argentina and Holland, as well as a team of consultants from other countries in order to deliver a video streaminh application for web, Android, and iOS for the Olympics Broadcast Services. We had to support high throughput live and VOD streams with multiple audio and subtitle tracks, and dynamic ads, as well as serve our users with live updates on the competitions, background information, and the standings of different countries and atheltes as they are taking place. We also contributed to the improvement of MediaMonk's proprietary iOS and Android development frameworks, helping keep them up to date.
We delivered AdventHealth for both Android and iOS, a Top 100 health app in the US AppStore that connects users with their health services providers and physicians all over the country, allows them to access their medical records, and have out-of-the-office video chats with medical staff. We had to follow rigorous HIPAA standards to ensure our users' data would be private and safe, all the while making sure the application was easy to use and accessible for a very varied user base. We've also worked on a social network iOS application for the US branch of the Girl Scouts organization. This project also required a very delicate approach to user data, as most of our users would be minors. The application allowed them to chat and share media, as well as to get in touch with their custodians and other responsible adults from the organization. We've also developed a customizable avatar system with a dynamically updated badge belt using the Unity3D game engine.
I've engaged several of the most important mobile development teams within MercadoLibre's structure in order to deliver quality features for their main product that is one of the world's lead platforms for e-commerce. I was fortunate to count several achievements in the time spent at MercadoLibre, among them being one of the founding members of its Quality Development team, and inter-team effort to develop and execute strategies that would improve the code quality across all the development teams in the company. I was also able to lead the development of the advanced item grouping feature for both the Android and iOS platforms that achieved above 5% of the total user conversion within the first two months of implementation.
I have been working on multiple projects for several of the company's most significant clients. I have had multiple adventures developing web pages with new frameworks, and have spent the last year and a half working on iOS projects. Starting with a hybrid application made in Xamarin, I've worked on multiple native iOS applications aimed on entertainment and health industries. I've also worked on a series of prototypes for the company's first in-house product, interacting closely with the higher management in order to ground their ideas into the possibilities of modern technology and guide them to make the right decisions about the technologies that should be used to achieve the desired results.
I worked on a series of projects for some of the most important of Globant's clients, including Electronic Arts and DirectTV. I focused on native mobile development both for the Android and the iOS platforms and was able to take charge of projects already well underway, working on debugging and optimization, as well as the implementation of client analytics libraries and unit testing.
My co-workers and I have decided to work independently, taking up software development projects as consultants in order to provide our clients with the best quality of attention, architecture, and code. We have worked on multiple projects, mainly for the mobile Android and iOS platforms with Java and Swift, using Python together with the Django framework, and Parse, for our backend needs. We have also taken up a Unity3D project, using mainly C#. I have taken part in almost every stage of development. I have performed recon through client interviews, estimated project delivery times and budgets, negotiated with clients both on the pricing and the functionalities in the products, investigated available technologies and written presentations and proposals for our clients, designed the product architecture, and taken part in actual development.
I have entered the main project at Vixionar with it being already a year in development, taking quick charge of the infrastructure and software architecture, creating the necessary documentation and leading both the in-house and the off-shore development teams in order to coordinate their efforts and present a unified, stable and reliable product. I have written documentation on the parts of the project already completed before I joined in, as well as the new goals and objectives that I was in charge of reaching. I have also maintained communication with the different international clients and worked with the documentation both provided by and produced for them. I have managed small teams of several in-house and several freelance developers, establishing task tracking and functional documentation, and maintaining their motivation throughout the project.
I have worked as a consultant on a video game project for a client, using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. I have created documentation, managed and developed code, as well as held continuous meetings with the client. I have also worked on an in-house social network platform for gyms, written in JavaScript using the Express framework with MongoDB as its backend.
I have worked for a major IBM's client packaging a large number of different applications with InstallShield. I have used InstallScript and VBScript to develop packages that would facilitate distribution and deployment of applications on the client's network, both through different software distribution systems and manually.
